Development Costs
The team will get together to work on the game two to five days a week, depending on travelling funds and availability.
Food costs for each member will be around £5 or less during one hour breaks.
Since the software being used to produce the game will be free, there are no software cost issues.
We all currently have the technology required to produce the game.
The game should be finished and released at the end of Autumn/beginning of Winter 2010.
Roll-out and Marketing
We have a period of two weeks at the end of development to utilise every possible free advertising channel for
casual games. We don't plan on spending money on advertising, and the cost of the time is accounted for as
development time.
Profit
Revenue will come from the advertising channels present on casual gaming websites such as Armor Games,
MiniClip or Bubble Box. These involve around-game advertising and pre-game video clips.
Depending on the terms/contract and the expected revenue, we may decide to share our game exclusively with one service.
We are also considering using a micro-transaction system to support “premium tower upgrades”.
We are expecting - at the very least - to cover the development costs of the game, as the purpose of this project is
notable industry experience for portfolios of work.
